What to Expect at your Consultation

Please have any documents, names, file numbers, information ready and with you for your consultation. We may ask questions that require some more information before we can move forward. We need to ensure there is no conflict of interest before we provide any information. 

You will explain your situation, what you are looking for as a remedy, and any questions. We will take notes during your consultation and ask questions at the end. We will then discuss your options, give you referrals if you need and discuss retaining or your next steps. 

The first 30 minutes is free to answer any questions and discuss things. After that first 30 minutes, you will be charged for any future phone calls, emails or questions that come in on an hourly rate basis at our rate at that time.

Bring your drivers license, any documents, evidence, information with you to be viewed and discussed. Should you decide to retain STP that day, monetary retainers can be paid via email transfer, cash or cheque. 

Have all documents, folders and files ready. Have your list of questions to ask and any other information you feel may be helpful. Give yourself time to sit in a quiet place to listen and talk. 

Seeking legal advice can be scary, we offer that first 30 minutes free to ease your fears. Not all consultations end in a retainer and that is okay, we like to give people knowledge to help themselves with their next steps either way.
